Summer/Fall 2023 2.75- 3.0 - Novice 6- League Friday 930 - 1130 AM is a pickleball ladder in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. *** THIS LEAGUE IS CURRENTLY ON WAITLIST*** Players who wish to play in this league will need to start in the 1:30 PM... Ladder position. You will move from the 1:30 to the 11:30 am as your rating increases providing room is available. Once you are in the second rung, 11:30 AM, the top two players will be invited to move up into this league starting at the end of August and continuing through the end of October. You will play every Friday with only players at your level to allow a safe and fun experience for all. This is a self-managed league and only those who are signed up to play in the league will be permitted to play. No drop ins or subs are permitted. Each player will need to have your own paddle and bring your own balls. We use Onix Orange Indoor balls. All can be purchased with the discount code of CRPH at pickleballcentral.com. This ladder league is for players that are low intermediate or approaching low intermediate who understand all the rules but are inconsistent in their play, but are able to keep the ball in play to some extent during play and able to drill cooperatively. You will need to know how to keep score, positioning, NVZ rules, how to serve, return serve, dink and volley. Players at this level should be able to sustain a rally, serve consistently, and should be starting to use drops and dinks more often in your game. Players must meet skill level requirements. Your skill level must be verified either through play (earning your level) in GPN, USAP, DUPR or other official rating systems or through a certified professional instructor. If you do not meet these requirements, please register for the level beneath this league to start in the ladder. If you're are not consistent with your level, you may be asked to move "down the ladder" to a level more appropriate to your skill. You will play every Friday through the end of November. This is a self-managed league. You will be approved into the league once we receive notification that you have paid. If you have not paid and the league fills up, you will be placed on a waitlist. This is not required but it is recommended. If you have not taken a clinic, we recommend contacting Laurel Heilman at 724.421.5490.
