Hidden Falls Pickleball Team League
October 8 - November 12 - Sunday afternoon Team Matches
November 18-19 - Team Tournament
A team will be comprised of 4 players that compete each week – 2 men and 2 women
You may have more than 4 on your team but only 4 will play each week.
The combined ratings ( DUPR or UTPR ) of the 4 players each week must total less than 15.
Example 1– Team 1 Man 1: 3.75, Man 2 : 3.5, Woman 1: 3.5, Woman 2 : 3.25 Total: 14 Okay
Example 2- Team 2 Man 1: 4.0, Man 2: 3.5, Woman 1 : 4.0, Woman 2 : 3.5 Total 15 Not Okay
You must disclose which rating you are using UTPR or DUPR
If you do not have an official rating from DUPR or UTPR, you will need to contact Lance Cowart via email at hiddenfallapickleball@gmail.com and he will help you self-rate.
A team competition will consist of the following:
Men's Doubles
Women's Doubles
Mixed Doubles Line 1 & Line 2
Each Match will be 2 out of 3 to 11 win by 1
You may find a substitute for your team as long as all the above parameters are met for competition.
A match will be decided by:
Matches Won
If match is tied 2-2: # of Games Won & then point differential
Matches will be played on Sunday Afternoons at 2pm & 4pm - beginning on October 8
A Double Elimination Tournament will be held, seeding based on standings over the 6 weeks.
League Fee is $120 per team (Team of 4 = $30 per person, Team of 6 = $20 per person)
Need 8 Teams minimum - Payout can go up depending on number of teams
Team payouts 1st Place in League - $160 2nd Place in League - $120
1st Place in tournament - $160 2nd Place Tournament $ 120-
