Mixed's Doubles 4.0 to 4.5 Pickleball Ladder is a pickleball ladder in Savannah, Georgia.
Every Tuesday night at 6:30pm at Lake Mayer will be a round-robin style tournament consisting of 10 teams, where all... points count towards your team's final score for the night. Each week's tournament's points will accumulate over the 8-week time frame. At the end of the 8-week ladder: first, second and third place winners will be announced. There will be a cash prize and trophy or plaque for the top 3 teams.
The top 6 scores will be taken from each team for the final count at the end of the ladder. That means each team can miss up to two Tuesday nights and still be in the running for the prizes. In addition, each individual player may have a one-time substitute player play for them. This is for in the instance in which a team has already missed two of the nights, and only one teammate is available, but the other is not.
Over the 8 weeks, each team will have an opportunity to use up to 2 challenges to challenge any other team in a 2 out of 3 match to be scheduled on their own time and then be reported to the ladder administrator. The winner of the 2 out of 3 will win the agreed-upon wager amount. For instance, if both teams agreed to wager 5 points, the losing team would lose 5 points of their overall score that would then be transferred to the winning team. You will lose 1 point for each challenge that you decline, or do not answer within 7 days. Each team will only get two challenges to use, and they cannot challenge the same team twice. Each team can only accept or decline up to 4 challenges. A challenge accepted but not scheduled or played out will result in a 1 point deduction from the challenged team. The maximum wager amount will be 7 points, and the initial wager offer will be made by the challenging team, the team being challenged can accept the initial wager offer or accept a 1 point differential up or down. For instance, if the challenging team wagers 3 points, the team being challenged can accept 3 points, or choose 2 or 4 points, since they are both within 1 point of the initial offer.
