Beginners with Coach Jeff - ‘SERVE, RETURN & DRIVE’ - Registration Req.

REGISTRATION REQUIRED - each attendee must sign up individually, places are limited. ADULTS ONLY (18+)

This session is designed for brand new players and those still learning the rules, where to stand and how to play smart points.

Join Jeff, our IPTPA Certified Club Coach for a mix of learning, fun drills and mini-games.
No waiting in line, everyone has a spot on a court.

This lesson will focus on the 1st and 2nd shots of the game. We'll cover how to hit a good serve, how to hit a good return of serve (receive), and we'll go over rules and some strategy surrounding these areas. We'll also look at hitting a drive (a low height ball from the back of the court) that gets an easier ball to come back.

We strongly advise beginners to participate in all 4 different lessons with Coach Jeff before jumping into Open Social games to have the best experience possible.

1. Serves, Returns & Drives
2. Dinks
3. Drops & Resets
4. Positioning.
You can start with any session - however sessions 1 or 2 would be the easiest as your first!

CANCELLATION POLICY:
• If you can’t attend, your fee can be transferred to another Y North Shore session within 14 days. Please email divesh.goundar@ymcanorth.org.nz and include:

? The session date and time you would like to be added to
• No refund if you withdraw within 24 hours and your spot is not filled.

WAITING LIST:
If you put your name on the waiting list and a spot becomes available, you will be emailed to let you know. Please don't assume that an email about the waiting list constitutes securing your position at the event, we hate to turn people away.

ABOUT COACH JEFF:
Jeff is certified by the IPTPA at levels 1 and 2. He's been playing pickleball for 4 years and can coach players up to an advanced level (4.0 DUPR).
