Thanks everyone for signing up. I am starting this discussion to:
1. Help us familiarize with how the discussion functions works
2. Get you thoughts on what you want to see or your questions on how ladder play could work at PC

Right now we will run an optional pilot during the advanced play times in December. The goal is to try a bunch of options to see which ones could work and how practical they are. Based on some of the feedback so far, we may end up with a totally separate ladder system outside of the advanced and couples dedicated play hours. This is how most other pickleball and tennis clubs run ladders.

For example, for the people who sign up and want to participate in a ladder, we could setup a double ladder that pairs up 4 players to play doubles and record the scores. The system would select the players to play, and these people would have a few days to schedule their game. They could then enter the results of the games, or submit to me to enter into the system. The system would then recalculate standings and then put out a new list of games to be played. We could set it up to ensure everyone on the ladder gets to play with everyone else, or set it up to make the games between people of similar levels....totally up to us how we want this.

In any case, I am interested to hear your thoughts and questions on how this could work. We will certainly get more info and opinions during December pilot.
