Happy New Year! As we begin a new year, I’d like to find out from the members if various programs interest you. I will provide the membership news articles regarding different types of programs we can start over the next year. However, we must begin by electing and appointing the club leaders for the following year. This article is about -
Annual Elections of the Board of Directors and Officers
The first item of business for the “club” is electing and appointing the leadership. We need members to be elected as members of the Board of Directors (BOD) and club officers. The BOD needs a minimum of three people on the BOD.
If you would like to assist in guiding the club, please put your name in the hat. The elections are scheduled for the end of January. Ideally, having directors from each county, including Prince George’s, Montgomery, Howard, and Anne Arundel counties, would be nice. I have placed each member in a county group on this page to let you know who is from each county. Please check it out.
Once the BOD is elected, the BOD will appoint the officers.
