Mixed Doubles & Singles League hosted by Rocket City Rally, Huntsville, AL
League is 6+ week commitment. 1 meet up each week. A partner is recommended for doubles bracket, but not required.
Read below for all details.
[SKILL LEVELS]
• True Beginner through Advanced League brackets.
• This league has multiple brackets to accommodate every skill level, from absolute beginner to semi-pro DUPR 5+.
[How Does The League Work]
• The league is a "Flex League".
• Our definition of 'Flex League' means YOU schedule time/place with partner/opponents on what schedule best suites you/partner/opponents.
• In this league, you will schedule matches with mutual time/place each week with partner/opponents.
• In the event that you cannot make a match during a scheduled week, mutually reschedule the matches at any day/time before the tournament ends. Expect 1-2 extra weeks specifically for make-up time to be added on to a season to help compensate for remakes/rescheduling.
• This league is continuous and consists of 'seasons'.
• Each season, Top teams in their brackets will move up 1+ bracket (i.e. rank up), while the bottom teams in each bracket will move down 1+ bracket (i.e. rank down). This adjustment insures skill levels level out into correct brackets and provide a competitive challenge to rank up and move up brackets.
• Seasons will typically last 5-7 weeks long (One season may last longer/shorter than a previous season due to various factors).
• Players who sign up for 1 season are only committed to that season. You are NOT required to play future seasons. But, you are encouraged to continue signing up each season to help better the flow of rankings.
• For specific match format, check 'League Match Format" below.
[League Match Format]
• Matches will be assigned to you on a weekly basis.
• You will play every team in your bracket 1 time (Round Robin Format).
• You will have from Sunday-Saturday of that week to mutually schedule and play your games with your opponent.
• In this league, you will schedule matches with mutual time/place each week with partner/opponents.
• In the event that you cannot make a match during a scheduled week, mutually reschedule the matches at any day/time before the tournament ends. Expect 1-2 extra weeks added on to a season to help compensate for remakes/rescheduling.
• [For Doubles] Play 5 games total per match/meet-up (the format is NOT best of 5. Play and report all 5 matches).
• [For Singles] Play 4 games total per match/meet-up (the format is NOT best of 4. Play and report all 4 matches).
• In the event you have started a match with an opponent and 1+ games cannot be played or remade, everyone must decide on a winner (preferably based on previous matches) and score the match as 11 for the winner, and the losers score should be their previous matches point average "rounded" (So, if the loser scored 3,4,3,3.. the average would be 3). If there is no average, score the loser as 0 points.
• 'League Points' will be awarded based on every games score. While you may lose games to your opponent, scoring points on them will still be rewarding.
• Games are to 11, win by 2 (do NOT log games on GPN over 11-9 points).
• In the event a score goes over 11 points dues to the win-by-2 rule (13-10 for example), after the match is over, score the match as 11-9, due to how the current point system works.
[Partner/Free Agent Info]
• A partner is recommended, but not required. A partner may be assigned to you if needed.
• Team format can be any gender combination (MM, MF, and/or FF).
• If you do not have a partner and need to be assigned one, select yes for "Free Agent" when signing up. A tournament admin will assign another free agent to be your partner if one is available.
• Free Agent means you do not have a partner, nor are you bringing a partner. Signifying that you are a Free Agent means you need an admin to assign you a partner who is also a free agent.
• In the event that you sign-up as a free agent and an admin is unable to assign you a partner, you will receive a full refund as long as you sign-up information is correct (phone number/email).
• After a season ends, you may choose to stay with your partner for a new season if you both sign-up and agree to play together. Just sign up as a normal team in this case.
• If you are in a Singles bracket, select 'No' for free agent.

• Contact RocketCityRally@outlook.com for any questions/concerns.
• More/Less brackets will be created depending on initial sign-up participation.

• It is best to have 2+ week-night availability and/or 2+ weekend availability to help flexibility (this is not required, but highly encourage to be semi-flexible on scheduling).
• You must make an effort to play your assigned match each week. Try avoiding making up matches unless necessary.
• Not playing a match for 2+ weeks may result in a ranking penalty.
• Dropping out or unavailability for 3+ weeks may result in a drop-out fee and/or unavailability to sign up for future competitions.
• After league sign-ups end, there is no option for refunds. Please report any drop outs to an admin or RocketCityRally@outlook.com
