Matariki Fun Tournament 2026

Our popular Matariki Fun Tournament is back for 2026!

Enter individually. Partners (Friday event) and team mates (Saturday event) will be arranged by the tournament directors.

This year we will be playing on one of the best courts in Auckland: Howick & Pakuranga Netball Centre, located opposite Columbus Coffee at Lloyd Elsemore Park, Pakuranga.

The outdoor courts feature a premium Rebound Ace surface, and are sheltered from the prevailing wind. A kitchen and lounge open up to the courts, which have a Rebound Ace cushioned surface for player comfort and to help protect paddles.

ARRANGED PAIRS DOUBLES: Matariki holiday, Friday, 10th July - 10am-5pm, Howick & Pakuranga Netball Centre (NEW VENUE). Checkin from 9am.

ARRANGED TEAMS DOUBLES: Saturday 11thJuly, 10am-4pm, Howick & Pakuranga Netball Centre (NEW VENUE). Checkin from 9am.

FIXED DOUBLES FORMAT:
- Graded groups (courts) of 12 players (6 pairs) per court.
- On each court, the #1 player will be partnered with #12, #2 with #11, and so on.
- Round robin followed by elimination rounds.

TEAMS FORMAT (no effect on player ratings):
Evenly balanced teams of 4 players in two groups.
Round robin followed by playoff between top team in each group, number two teams, etc.

CANCELLATION POLICY: FULL REFUND.
WITHDRAWAL POLICY: FULL REFUND UP TO 48 HOURS PRIOR TO EVENT START.
