St. Joseph's Academy Indoor Pickleball Tournament

The St. Joseph’s Academy Alumnae Association is excited to host our Fourth Annual Pickleball Tournament on Saturday, August 15, 2026 presented by Woman's Hospital.

We welcome alumnae, parents and friends of SJA, age 21 and older to participate in the tournament. Tournament proceeds support campus enhancements at St. Joseph’s Academy.

This one-day tournament will be hosted INDOORS at the LSU Tennis Complex (3056 Gourrier Avenue, Baton Rouge, LA 70820).

Tournament Format:
• The SJA Pickleball Tournament is an adult event. Alumnae, parents and friends of SJA who are 21 years of age or older are invited to register.
• This is a non-sanctioned tournament.
• SJA will provide tournament balls. Players are asked to bring their own paddles.
• The tournament is open to women’s, men’s and mixed doubles teams.
• Players choose their own doubles partner, but both players must register and pay the tournament fee individually.
• Teams will be ranked based on the higher-rated player.
• Players wishing to enter more than one division must pay an additional $25 registration fee for each additional division.
• The tournament director reserves the right to combine levels or age groups as needed to balance tournament brackets.

Player Divisions:
Men’s: 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0+
Women’s: 2.5, 3.0, 3.5
Mixed: 2.5, 3.0, 3.5

Schedule of Events - Saturday, August 15
• 8:00 a.m. – Check-in opens

•Women’s 3.5: 8:30am
•Women’s 3.0: 8:45am
•Women’s 2.5: 9:00am

•Men’s 3.5: 11:30am
•Men’s 3.0: 11:45am
•Men’s 2.5: 12:00pm
•Men’s 4.0: 12:15pm

•Mixed 2.5: 3:00pm
•Mixed 3.0: 3:15pm
•Mixed 3.5: 3:30pm

Please check in at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled match time.
Tournament brackets and match times will be released after registration closes.

Tournament Ball & Surface:
• Court Surface: Outdoor courts located within an indoor facility

Additional Details:
Food, water, hydration drinks and adult beverages will be provided throughout the tournament.
Guests may purchase a spectator pass for $20 at the door, which includes access to food and beverages.
