Pickleball Discussions in North Miami Beach, Florida

I'll be in South Florida for a couple of weeks and would like to find ladders where I can sign in as a sub if space is available, but all the networks I see don't have any ongoing events. I'm used to playing here in Canada where the networks I belong to, have a lot of ladder or round robin events (ladies, mixed) and they pair you up according to your DUPR rating, so not sure if this is not common in South Florida.
