Hello! Looking for volunteer referees for a private pickleball tournament on 9/4/24 to raise money for charity. Yes, this is a weekday and it is in the afternoon from about 1PM to 5PM. If you're interested, please let me know! The event will take place in Joliet, IL.
Head up top Nike Park sometime after work. There are typically games going on with Rec and Competitive play. If you are a 2.5 player, you should be able to find a group there. If you are 3.5ish or so, feel free to move down by me on the comp courts. Most people there are pretty friendly and accommodating.
If you are interested in early hours, there's a group of us that get together at Hobson Courts in Woodridge starting at 6am. Most of that group is retiree's and play 6-12pm. If not, Nike is a great option for after work, I think they start showing up around 4 or 5pm. My groups usually stays until the lights turn off at 10pm, so there's always someone there to play.
