GRADED LADDER GAMES
Minimum standard expected for this session is players with experience, who are confident in the basics and developing their team play, net play with dinks and volleys and game strategy.

• This session is not suitable for beginners or novice players, please consider joining Jeff’s 6pm beginner course or if full our 7.30pm, social session instead.
• If you are unsure if you are Intermediate level please speak to a committee member or message on GPN.
• Strictly limited to 6 players per court
• Graded courts
• Round robin, timed games

SESSION DETAILS:
• Cost: $10 (Full Y gym members free)
• Courts Available: 4
• Registration is only confirmed once payment is received
• N.B. - unpaid names are automatically removed
• Adults only (18+)

COURT ALLOCATIONS:
• Based on committee assessment (GPN or DUPR ratings are used only as a guide, they are often inaccurate or inconsistent).
• Based primarily on performances over multiple weeks (games won and points differential).
• Player numbers and ability levels can vary significantly from week to week, affecting court placements.
• Winning a court does not automatically mean promotion, and losing a court does not automatically mean relegation, however we often use these weekly results to determine tie-breaks when 2 players are of very similar levels.
• Our goal is to place players in the way we believe will create the most balanced, competitive, and enjoyable games for everyone.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
• If you can’t attend, your fee can be transferred to another Y North Shore session within 14 days. Please email pickleball.northshore@ymcanorth.org.nz and include:
? The session date and time you were unable to attend
? The session date and time you would like to be added to
• No refund if you withdraw within 24 hours and your spot is not filled.

Please avoid pulling out on the day where possible — late cancellations are harder to fill, often requiring organisers to redo the draw.
