Pickleball Ladder Rules
1. The ladder is located in:
Country: New Zealand
City: Auckland

2. The ladder is open to the following players:
Playing Level: 2.20 to 5.99
Match Format: Doubles
Gender: All

3. This ladder will begin October 14, 2026 and end March 24, 2027.

4. Players will not be penalized for not playing matches.

5. Forfeits will not be treated like a lost match, and will have no affect on rankings or points.

6. Any of the following match formats can be used:

Anything goes: This will allow any score to be submitted without any validation. Not always recommended.

Example scores: 5-3, 8-2 or 21-20, 21-18

7. The following system will be used to compute a player's position on the ladder.

Calculated Playing Levels: This system ranks the ladder players by their calculated playing level. So for example, if a player on your doubles ladder has a calculated doubles level of 4.32, they will have 4.32 points. Any matches played on GPN where all the players are registered, are used to calculate playing levels. So matches played outside this ladder could have an affect. The calculated playing levels are update nightly, and so will the points and rankings on your ladder. You will not see real time updates with this ranking system.

8. All ladder members should maintain current contact information. If you change phone numbers or e-mail addresses, you must update your profile so other member can contact you and you will receive email notifications.
