Description
New interclub league at Remuera Pickleball Club.
Format update:
• 4 doubles pairs v 4 doubles pairs Best of 3 to 11 (win by 1 on the 3rd game), OR
• 4 pairs play 2 matches each played to 15 (e.g. 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4 & 1v2, 2v1, 3v4, 4v3 (TBC)
- points accumulated on the ladder number of matches won with minor premiership being place on ladder
- Finals
• Week 1: 1v8, 2v7, 3v6, 4v5 (winners progress to semis & losers progress to plate round)
• Week 2: Semi finals
• Week 3 Final & playoffs
Prizes TBA:
• Minor Premiership
• Premiers
• MVP Medal (during every match throughout the season, there’s a 3-2-1 MVP point system awarded to a player in each match between clubs.
These points tally throughout the minor premiership rounds and are made public on a ladder.
The finals rounds points will be allocated in all matches behind closed doors & winner declared at the end of Season.
There will be 4 anonymous judges appointed weekly to each match to award the 3-2-1 points)
Runs for 10 Tuesdays from 6.30-9.30pm. Each club will field a team of 8 players. Cost: $120 per player for series.
50% of games need to have at least one female player.
NOTE: You may only play for one club the entire series, including as a reserve.
