Pickleball Tournament
Pickle for a Purpose is Echelon LA Metro's 1st annual charity pickleball tournament, benefiting Salvation Army LA Metro programs — food, housing, youth and senior services.
WHEN: Saturday, August 29, 2026, 5:00-8:00pm (check-in and warm-up open at 4:45pm)
WHERE: Peninsula Racquet Club, 30850 Hawthorne Blvd, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275. Free parking off Crestmont Lane.
FORMAT: Mixed doubles, round robin into brackets, minimum 4 courts. Two divisions — Beginner/Novice and Intermediate/Advanced. Players self-identify their level and are paired with a partner unless a partner preference is given. 24-48 players.
REGISTRATION: $150 per player. Includes club access, pro coaching support during the event, and a welcome bag. Spectator tickets are $120 and include club access, a welcome bag, and the networking mixer.
All skill levels are welcome. Bring a paddle, court shoes, athletic attire, water and sunscreen. Non-alcoholic beverages and light snacks provided; food available for purchase. Awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place plus Top Fundraising Team, with raffle drawings throughout the evening.
