I will be in Ortega/Jax the week of 8/25 and would like to play PB several mornings that week. Is Yacht Club a good location for (3.6 - 4.0) morning PB?
It is a private club, try Picklerage at Avenues, Toontown downtown, or on pickleball scheduler there are sign ups for public courts around Jacksonville.

We have our first SuprDuprJax event there on Monday 8/25 from 7-9pm, and of course we have all of our other weekly events while you’re in town, which you should already be receiving invites to.
Mike, there is a good group that plays regularly at Ringhaver on MWF mornings. There are people of various skill levels but there are some very good players. Check on playtime scheduler to make sure we are playing. Hope to see you!

We are a fun but competitive club, so brand new beginners are generally not a good fit in our club; however, if you have been playing for a while, have a good grasp on the fundamentals and strategies of the game, and are ready to take your game to the next level, COME JOIN US!
NOTE: we do have some venues (FYC, Argyle and Nassau 365) which have the space available to include a court of beginners who are still “getting their feet wet” but already have a good grasp of the rules and want to compete.
Our current sessions now include:
• MONTHLY Monday evening at Florida Yacht Club, 5120 Yacht Club Dr, 32210 (Ortega, off US-17) (outdoor facility fee applies for all players)
• Tuesday mornings at PickleRage, 10320 Shops Ln, 32258 (off US-1 Philips Hwy and I-95) (indoor facility fee applies for all players)
• Tuesday evenings at Argyle Forest Park, 8533 Acanthus Dr, 32244 (off Blanding Blvd and Argyle Forest Blvd) (outdoor facility fee applies for all players)
• Wednesday evenings at Nassau Pickleball 365, 86365 Koen Ln, 32097 (Yulee, off FL-200 and US 17) (covered facility fee applies for all players)
• Thursday mornings at Argyle Forest Park, 8533 Acanthus Dr, 32244 (off Blanding Blvd and Argyle Forest Blvd) (FREE, but donations are expected)
• MONTHLY Saturday morning at Nassau Pickleball 365, 86365 Koen Ln, 32097 (Yulee, off FL-200 and US 17) (covered facility fee applies for all players)

All players are grouped by DUPR ranking to create highly competitive matchups. Players are then randomly seeded within their DUPR group and randomly paired with different partners and opponents during the session.
Players will typically play a total of 7-8 matches (including 0-2 byes in an 8-10 round session, depending on the total number of players at the event).
