Hello. I live near Aventura Area in miami. Looking to play a singles match. My level is 4.0-4.5. Is anyone on that level interested? I have a court available near me,
Hi there! My name is Thalia, I’ve been playing tennis for 10+ years and new to pickleball. I have courts (both pickleball and tennis) here in Aventura. If you want to play, lmk!
There are 8 public courts at Haulover Park just a mile or two north of Surfside. There are advanced players that play there but, to the best of my knowledge, the better players are there either early in the AM or in the late afternoon, as there are no lights or facilities. You also have to pay a flat rate parking fee of $10.
Or you can check the schedule at Dinko, which is a new indoor facility about 20-25 mins. from Surfside. They have some open play sessions specifically for Intermediate/Advanced players.
Finally, you can go to the Miami Beach Golf Course, which is 20-30 mins. away depending on time of day. They have 6 public courts, one of which is a challenge court where the better players play, and lights so they are open from about 6 AM to 11 PM (I think.) This is the most popular location in the Miami Beach area and they have very nice facilities inside the clubhouse.
There are other courts around the Surfside area (both indoor or outdoor, public or private) but I can't guarantee that you'll find advanced play at any of them.
I normally play at the Miami Beach Golf Course during the week in the mornings, so if you can play then I'd be happy to meet you there. But I'm a 3.5, so you'll have to play the left side. ;-)
Wow! Thanks for responding with all of this info. Sounds like Haulover will be the most convenient. Btw a 4.0 coming from NJ is more like a 3.0 in Florida lol I know u guys down there are way stronger! Games will be fun no matter what! See u all on the court soon! Thanks again!

Will be in Surfside/Miami next week M-Th. Where can I find some 4.0 games in the area? Are there daily open plays for this level?
