This is a longer read, but our club is reaching out for new members and additional support for the events we hold that we hope bring value to your membership:

Members of the Fargo Moorhead Pickleball Club,
Summer is finally here, bringing lots of new opportunities to play our favorite sport! Whether you prefer playing indoors or are excited to get back outside on the courts, it’s great to have so many options available in our community.
FMPC is busy, too, providing opportunities to play practically every night of the week. But FMPC is about so much more than offering exclusive pickleball play for our members. We work hard to provide real value with your membership.
Members often receive discounts on leagues, tournaments, and special events, and many of our leagues run year-round. Some of our successful ongoing programs include Monday Night King and Queen League at Courts and Pints, Sunday Night Ladder League at the Fargo Sports Center, and joint events with Courts Plus.
As a club, we also work hand in hand with local Park and Recreation departments, including Fargo, West Fargo, Moorhead, and Horace. We are grateful for our long-standing positive relationships with these partners. Together, we help plan special events, clinics, and opportunities for players of all ages and skill levels.
Already this year, FMPC has donated to several worthy causes as part of our continued commitment to staying involved in and giving back to our community.
Each year, we also sponsor our annual summer picnic and our year-end gala, where we celebrate the year, recognize accomplishments, and hear updates from each board member.
FMPC is a nonprofit organization, and our hardworking board members and members at large volunteer their time to help keep the club running and growing. That brings us to our request:
We need your help!
Our club currently has 6 board directors and 3 members at large working hard to maintain the services, events, and opportunities we offer. We currently have 3 open board positions, and we hope you will consider getting involved.
Serving as a member at large is also a great way to learn more about the club’s mission, understand how we operate, and discover how your skills, ideas, and energy can contribute to the ongoing success of FMPC.
With more board members and volunteers, we can better share the workload and continue helping the club thrive, just as it has since 2019.
Please consider joining our group and bringing your expertise, enthusiasm, and love of pickleball to the club. Our meetings are open, so it’s easy to attend, observe, and see firsthand how we contribute to the pickleball community. It’s easy to check it out!.. Just get ahold of any one of board members you see listed on our website at www.fmpickleball.com.
As an added incentive, board members receive a free yearly membership after serving on the board for 90 days.
