Pickleball Team League

League Description
MATCH FORMAT
Each team will provide three doubles team partnerships (fixed partnership).
Round Robin Rotation with each round playing two (2) games to eleven points, win by Two (2).
Visiting team chooses to either serve, receive, side, or defer the first game of each round. Teams shall switch sides after each game.
The team that initiated serve in the first game shall receive in the second game. There is no coin toss or racquet spin.
The home team remains on the assigned courts.
If teams must default one or two lines of match play, remaining lines will play according to round robin play.
5 minutes minute warm-ups are supported.
The visiting team rotates.

3. There is $26.06 fee to join this league. Upon registering for this league, you will be taken to a page with instruction on how to make a payment.

4. This league will begin June 08, 2024 and end August 10, 2024.

5. Any of the following match formats can be used:

11 win by 2: First to 11 points and win by 2. If score is tied at 10, the winner will be the first to be ahead by 2 points.

Example scores: 11-8 or 16-14


6. The following system will be used to compute points earned per match.

Manual Points: This system allows you to manually enter the amount of points a player or team receives or loses for each match or forfeit. Using these points, the sytem will automatically compute and update the team’s rankings.

SCORING
•  Two (2) points will be scored for each game won.
•  One (1) point is awarded for any line scoring six or more points in a single game.
•  The winning team in each game will score the most points.
•  Points for a line default will be awarded to the opposing team.
•  If a team plays an athlete with a rating higher than the 4.5 DUPR or UTPR range, all points for a match will be forfeited and awarded to the opposing team.
•  The winner of the match is determined by the most points earned.
•  Tiebreaks will first defer to head-to-head match results, and further tiebreaks will be determined by the percentage of games won.
