Pickleball Ladder Description
All registered players will be placed on the ladder by CAPA volunteers. Players will move up or down the ladder each week depending upon performance during their matches.

Pickleball Ladder Rules
1. The ladder is located in:
Country: United States
State: South Dakota
City: Pierre

2. The ladder is open to the following players:
Playing Level: 2.00 to 4.99
Match Format: Doubles
Gender: All

3. This ladder will begin January 05, 2023 and end March 04, 2023.

4. Match Instructions:
Please show up 10 minutes prior to your designated start time to warm up. Balls will be provided by CAPA. Donations for extra balls is always appreciated.

5. Players will not be penalized for not playing matches.

6. Forfeits will be treated like a lost match, and will affect rankings and points.

7. Any of the following match formats can be used:

15 win by 2: First to 15 points and win by 2. If score is tied at 14, the winner will be the first to be ahead by 2 points.

Example scores: 15-9 or 15-13

8. The following system will be used to compute a player's position on the ladder.

Custom Points: This system allows you to determine how many points are awarded for playing a match, winning a match, game, or even a point. You can also deduct points for a loss or award more points for winning in straight games or a higher ranked team.

Points for winning a match: 10
Points for losing a match: -5
Points for winning a point: 1
9. All ladder members should maintain current contact information. If you change phone numbers or e-mail addresses, you must update your profile so other member can contact you and you will receive email notifications.
