Pickleball Ladder Description
This is a fun, competitive event to bring Pickleball players to play others who are 62 and older, and a strong or better 3.75 rating. We will use a leap from ladder which means if you beat a team you will move above the defeated team. To join you have to have designated partner.

Pickleball Ladder Rules
1. The ladder is located in:

6. Teams have 7 days to play an accepted challenge before it expires and the following occurs:
8. Teams can have up to 3 pending incoming challenge at a time. This includes an incoming challenge that has been accepted but not played. The incoming challenge has to be completed before a new one can be accepted.

Each team should bring balls to play. Once the match is over the winning team will submit the score.

11 win by 2: First to 11 points and win by 2. If score is tied at 10, the winner will be the first to be ahead by 2 points.

Leap Frog: This is the most basic and straightforward ranking system. When a lower-ranked player defeats a higher-ranked player, the lower-ranked player “leapfrogs” the higher-ranked player and takes their position. The higher-ranked player, along with everyone ranked between them, moves down one spot. If the higher-ranked player wins, the rankings do not change.
For doubles matches where players are ranked individually, the same concept is applied using points. The winning players receive a new point value equal to the average point value of their opponents, which determines their new positions in the rankings.
15. All ladder members should maintain current contact information. If you change phone numbers or e-mail addresses, you must update your profile so other member can contact you and you will receive email notifications.
