Jonny Malanga is a dedicated pickleball player with 5+ years of on-court experience studying elite methods, drills, and strategies to reach an advanced competitive level. He has played alongside and against 2.0-6.0 players in all ranges and categories. He breaks down the game in a simple, entertaining, and highly educational way—helping players of all ages improve faster. As one of two active, participating coaches for the University of Miami Pickleball Club, he focuses on developing and advancing incoming players, as well as, seasoned team members to maintain the program's high-level national rankings and ratings. I’ve been teaching Pickleball as a PPR certified instructor since October 2023, and I’m also a competitive player who’s won tournament medals. I’m a certified PPR Pickleball Pro with a deep passion for teaching and inspiring players to elevate their game. Over the past year, I’ve had the opportunity to work with both small groups and larger clinics of up to 18 participants, which has been incredibly rewarding. This year, I earned the US Open Singles 4.0 Gold and the APP Silver Medal in Doubles 4.0. Looking ahead, I’m excited to compete at the Nationals in Arizona this November with my sights set on the Gold Medal, and I’m committed to turning PRO within the next year. My focus is on delivering top-notch technical guidance and game insight to empower players to reach their full potential.
