Shoreview First Annual Community Open

All pickleball players at Shoreview are invited to participate -- and have fun! -- at the First Annual Shoreview Pickleball Open Tournament.

Each registered player will be partnered on a doubles team, in rotating fashion, with every other competitor to play one game against another doubles team. The players on the winning team will be awarded three points each, and the players on the losing team will be awarded one point each.

After each competitor has played a game with every other competitor as their teammate, we'll rank-order all players by the number of points they've individually amassed. Depending on the number of total competitors, we will determine how to structure the "elimination" portion of the tournament and declare our ultimate winners.

This tournament will run for the better part of the day.

Everyone is welcome, regardless of their skill levels! Non-playing spectators are also welcome. The competition will be keen, and the fun should be over-the-top!

Food and beverages will be available.

The registration fee for each competitor will be $3.00, payable in CASH ONLY at the courts on the day of the tournament.
