Ok, just getting back on this site.... I will send invite to all to join this network.
Did you see attempt at a ladder league?
Did you put the new image (Historic Downtown) on my network? I tried to edit to change it with a picture of our courts....where do you do that? When I click on it to edit...it brought me to the Settings for my network.....and nowhere to update/change the picture.
Hi Rick - how do you delete players in the Ladder? I entered 12 players when I was playing about with the Ladder setup....they are not registered....but I want to start fresh.
How do you enter the court where the games will be played?
Could you look over the Ladder that I setup....did i do it right?
I sent invitations first to those who expressed interest in playing in this ladder league....after they are all registered, I'll send invitations to the rest of the members of 3RPA so the can view Stats as we go.
Where do I set up entry fee for the ladder league....$20.00
Thanks in advance for your help.
Bill
Ok set up a fee of $20 for your first ladder. You can charge both for the season (which might include several ladders) and for each ladder. I just put the $20 charge on your first ladder.
To delete players from a ladder just go to the ladder admin tab and select 'manage players'. I created a test ladder, go to the ladder admin on that one and delete the two test players.
To add delete or change fees for your ladder league or a ladder in your league, just go to the league admin settings and scroll down a ways where you can set your fees.
Thank you Rick. Did both. For some reason...I thought I went there before....but couldn't see it...now I did.
So, per your comment earlier that only a few really take advantage of a Premium account....what will each member see (or gain) on a premium account that they won't have on a free account?
Once all the invited members set up their accounts, I'll send the invites to the ladder. Then once all are registered on the ladder, I'll invite the rest of the members so they can view the ladder progress. Does that make sense to you?
Bill
Rick - this is a procedural question. Must players accept my invitation to the Ladder league before I can set up matches? and must players accept/be signed up on the Ladder league before I can set up an event for the matches? I've sent invitations to the ladder, but not all have accepted yet....just wondering if I should continue to wait or remind players to accept my invitations first.
Bill
I believe you can add them as non-registered players, and when they do join, GPN will name match them, so that their results as non registered are attached to their new identity.
Ok thanks. All the who expressed interest in the ladder league are already signed up on GPN....just not all accepted the ladder invitation. So I assume I can add them to the ladder anyway, correct? Then ask then to RSVP so I can setup the event. Correct?
Yes you can add them to both the ladder and each ladder event. I normally create a series of ladder events, that point to the actual ladder. From there, you can send out invitations each week, or just have them add themselves to each event.
Rick - I set up the events....1 for each week and I want to schedule matches. I know this is a stupid question....so where do you Schedule Matches? On Trevor's video, he shows where you schedule matches...but I can't find that page.
And I'm a bit confused... I see 9 players attending then on another screen I see only 7 players registered for the ladder. So can players attend if they are not registered in the ladder?
The best way to meet new players, organize play times, track matches, and receive a calculated playing level, is to play in a ladder league. Running a ladder league is free, and anyone can start one in minutes.
